Hans Mehn

Mr. Mehn is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Generation IM Climate Solutions Strategy. Mr. Mehn joined Generation in 2008 from Swiss Re. He worked at Swiss Re and affiliates since 1995 in the management of private equity and related investments. From 2003, he was responsible for the approximately CHF 2 billion Direct Investments portfolio including the build-up of investments in sustainability themes during recent years. Mr. Mehn joined Swiss Re in New York and relocated to Zurich in 1997. He served as a member of Swiss Re's Alternative Investments Committee and as an observer on the Board of Directors of Atradius N.V., a leading global trade credit insurer. Prior to Swiss Re, Mr. Mehn worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Smith Barney Inc. from 1992 to 1995.
Mr. Mehn holds a B.A. (cum laude) in Economics and Art History from Duke University, including study abroad in France and Switzerland. Mr. Mehn speaks German and conversational French.
