Colin Le Duc - Partner

San Francisco

Colin is a Founding Partner of Generation Investment Management, a Co-Head of the Growth Equity strategy, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Previously, Colin worked for Sustainable Asset Management, Arthur D. Little, and Total.

Colin received a BSc in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath, UK, and speaks French fluently.

Colin serves as a Board Director for Nairobi-based M-KOPA.

Hans Mehn - Partner

London

Hans joined Generation in 2008 and is a Co-Head of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Hans was Head of Direct Investments at Swiss Re and affiliates, and was an investment banking analyst at Smith Barney.

Hans received a BA in Economics and Art History from Duke University.

Hans serves as a Board Director for Tigo Energy and Harvest Power, and as a Board Observer for GreenRoad Technologies.

David Lowish - Partner

London

David joined Generation in 2007 and is a Co-Head of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, David was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

David received a BA from Trinity College Cambridge, and was awarded a Diplome from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He was awarded the CFA charter in 2003. David is a native German speaker.

David serves as a Board Director for GreenRoad Technologies.

Lila Preston - Partner

New York

Lila joined Generation in 2004 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Lila was a Director of Finance & Development at VolunteerMatch. 

Lila received a BA in English and Latin American Studies from Stanford University, and an MBA from London Business School. Lila speaks fluent Spanish.

Lila serves as a Board Observer for Optoro and Harvest Power. She is also a Board Director for CiBO Technologies, Recyclebank, Seventh Generation’s Social Mission Board, and the nonprofit organization Sun Valley Institute for Resilience.

Niki Rosinski - Partner

London

Niki joined Generation in 2004 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, he was a sustainability analyst at Sustainable Asset Management.

Niki received an MSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Lüneburg, Germany. He was awarded the CFA charter in 2008. Niki is a native German speaker.

 

Greg Wasserman - Partner

New York

Greg joined Generation in 2010 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Greg led the Clinton Foundation’s global solar program, was a VP in the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs, and an Associate in the Principal Finance Group at Goldman Sachs.

Greg received a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University. He was awarded the CFA charter in 2003. 

Greg serves as a Board Director for TerraLUX and as a Board Observer for M-KOPA and Motivate International. He is also a Board Director for the nonprofit organization Friends of Hudson River Park

Lilly Wollman - Partner

London

Lilly joined Generation in 2015 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, she was a Principal with Baupost Group, an investment analyst at Fortress Investment Group, and a FICC analyst at Goldman Sachs. 

Lilly received a BA in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Lilly serves as a Board Observer for CiBO Technologies.

Matt Taylor - Director

London

Matt joined Generation in 2016 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, he was a Partner with Bain & Company. 

Matt received a BA in Human Sciences from Oxford University, and an MSc in Medical Anthropology from Oxford University.

Joy Tuffield - Director

London

Joy joined Generation in 2013 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Joy was an investment banking analyst with Jefferies International, and a research analyst in the Energy, Environment and Resources Department of Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs).

Joy received a Masters in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University. Joy speaks fluent Farsi.

Anthony Woolf - Director

London

Anthony joined Generation in 2016 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, he was a Vice President with Warburg Pincus, and an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. 

Anthony received a Masters in Chemistry from Oxford University. He is IMC qualified.

David Mood - Associate

London

David joined Generation in 2014 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, he was an investment analyst with DN Capital, and an investment banking analyst at Barclays.

David received a BSc in Business Administration from the European Business School in Germany, and an MSc in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience. David is a native German speaker.

Shalini Rao - Associate

London

Shalini joined Generation in 2015 and is a member of the Growth Equity strategy. Previously, Shalini was a sustainable finance associate at JP Morgan, and a research fellow with the Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs.

Shalini received a BA degree from Harvard University, and is on track to achieve an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics in 2017.

Shalini serves on the board of the London-based non-profit organisation, Fair Money Advice.
