Generation Investment Management appoints Chris Ragona as a Partner

Generation Investment Management, a sustainable investment manager founded in 2004, today announced the appointment of Chris Ragona as a Partner focused on the firm's Long-term Equity strategy.

Chris brings over 25 years of private equity investing and business building experience. Chris will join Long-term Equity's global leadership team and remain based in North America, expanding Long-term Equity’s geographic footprint.

Long-term Equity is Generation’s private equity strategy that makes long-term investments in a small number of high quality businesses that the team believes can also be sustainability leaders in their industries. Long-term Equity targets platform companies with significant scale, strong growth and proven business models. The current portfolio comprises two sustainability platform businesses, FNZ and Octopus Energy, which are both demonstrating exceptional business performance and measurable sustainability impact over the long term.
